The Centre national de l’audiovisuel (CNA) is a cultural institute founded in 1989 and operating under the authority of the Ministry of Culture. Its mission is to preserve and promote Luxembourg’s audiovisual heritage, as well as to make the culture of sound and images accessible to everyone through exhibitions, publications, screenings, conferences and events for the general public. As visual literacy is one of its key missions, the CNA has developed an educational programme aimed at primary, secondary and higher education.

Since 2010, the KULTURRALLYE has been offering pupils enrolled in the Voie de Préparation a unique opportunity to visit various cultural institutions in Luxembourg. Every year, over 1,000 pupils take advantage of this opportunity.
Applaus is an initiative launched by SCRIPT aimed at promoting the performing arts in Luxembourg’s primary schools. In addition to an extensive database of teaching resources in the fields of music, theatre and dance, Applaus also offers a range of workshops and projects in schools.
They are educational kits designed to improve the understanding of practical skills – such as craftsmanship – in primary school by encouraging pupils to develop an interest in vocational studies.
The SkillsBooster can be booked by the headteacher for a single class or the whole school, making it easy to present a variety of careers.

What is a SkillsBooster?
Each career is supported by two trolleys – a sturdy wooden trolley on wheels, the size of a Euro pallet – which contain a variety of educational materials.
These materials enable the teacher to introduce new skills and careers to the classroom.
This concept allows for the representation of a broader set of skills in a way that is both engaging and accessible to the children.
L’espace culturel des Rotondes est issu de l’organisation en 2007 de “Luxembourg et Grande Région, capitale européenne de la culture”.
Aujourd’hui Établissement public, les Rotondes ont pour mission de développer l’accès de tous à la culture en accordant une place privilégiée aux jeunes et à l’éducation. La programmation des Rotondes est pluridisciplinaire et offre une vaste programmation dans différents domaines : spectacle vivant, arts visuels, musiques actuelles, ateliers et projets participatifs, conférences, événements socio-culturels, arts numériques et formations continues.

Avec ses bâtiments historiques – dont le plus ancien date de 1617 – le musée illustre de manière vivante la vie sociale et artisanale des habitants de la région de la Moselle aux XIXe et début du XXe siècle. Il offre également un aperçu passionnant de l’histoire de la viticulture et des sociétés rurales en Moselle luxembourgeoise.
Tonneliers, cordonniers, tailleurs, tisserands, vignerons… les métiers et les modes de vie traditionnels des communautés rurales racontent une histoire riche, qui nous invite à porter un regard nouveau sur notre présent.
Dans le cadre de visites spécialement conçues pour les classes de l’enseignement fondamental, accompagnées d’un atelier, les élèves découvrent des thématiques historiques de manière ludique et adaptée à leur âge. En participant activement, en expérimentant et en manipulant, ils s’immergent dans des techniques traditionnelles et dans les modes de vie d’autrefois.
Une expérience qui allie émerveillement, apprentissage et découverte – et qui invite à faire le lien entre passé, présent et avenir.
