Discovering the World of Stamps

Stamps are everyday objects that combine communication, history, culture, and artistic expression.

Through their diverse illustrations, stamps tell stories and highlight places, people, animals, and important events. They also serve as a source of inspiration for artistic and creative activities.

This educational workshop allows students to discover the world of philately: what stamps are used for, how to use them correctly, how they are designed and manufactured, and the many artistic possibilities offered by stamps that have already been used.

• Continuing to develop and grow in one’s school life

The workshop is inspired by the idea of a board game, with an added playful element of collecting points across various themes of theatre pedagogy. By the end, both the class and the teacher should have new ideas for enriching their school day in a variety of ways.

DIY Pico Synth

DIY Pico Synth is a music workshop in which participants have the opportunity to assemble a synthesiser developed specifically for this workshop, which they can then use to make music.

Participants learn the basics of programming and digital sound creation, and gain an insight into how electronic components work (what a circuit board, a potentiometer and a microcontroller are, and how a button works). In the final part, they learn how to create sounds and digital music.

Participants can then take their synthesiser home to continue their musical explorations.

A unique workshop, designed for all ages from 9 years old upwards.

Music Video Day – your class, your video clip!

We produce a video clip with your class in one day. Based on a text and a chosen theme, we produce a song or select an existing song that we are allowed to use. We sing and record an audio track of the song, which is also filmed. In addition, we come up with some great additional shots that fit the story and the theme, and act them out in front of the camera. The whole thing is then edited together into a fun and unique video clip.

Am Bësch aktiv – Kreativitéit an der Natur

De Bësch ass net nëmmen e Raum fir Beweegung an Entdeckung, mee och eng grouss Inspiratiounsquell fir kreativ Prozesser. Mat Blieder, Äscht, Steng, Schuel, Buedem an anere Naturmaterialie gestalten d’Kanner eege Wierker, bauen, experimentéieren a setzen hir Iddien direkt an der Natur ëm.

Dobäi steet net dat „perfekt Resultat“ am Mëttelpunkt, mee de kreative Prozess: observéieren, ausprobéieren, veränneren an nei Léisunge fannen. D’Aktivitéite fërderen d’Fantasie, d’Feinmotorik, d’Wouernehmung an den eegene kreativen Ausdrock. Gläichzäiteg léieren d’Kanner d’Naturmaterialien an hir Ëmwelt bewosst a respektvoll kennen.

Playfully

This workshop offers an exciting 360° journey of the body with movements from the worlds of dance, martial arts and Animal Flow, enabling children to discover and develop their motor skills and body dynamics. Through natural movements, reflexes, and creative coordination and mobility games, children experience the dancer’s body in all its diversity. Various creative exercises are demonstrated that can also be done in everyday life to improve bodily awareness and develop new creative ideas.

The aim of this workshop is to improve our spatial orientation, to listen to our instincts and to trust them. We learn to recognise signals from our inner selves, to listen to them, and to foster them positively at the same time. The focus is on enjoying the process of learning and experimentation, without fixating on a specific outcome or any other predetermined expectations.
We follow our impulses and allow ourselves to be led freely by the movement. Through this practice, we consciously reconnect with our body and gradually build a greater body awareness.
As part of this workshop, we will also explore ’empty’ and ‘open’ space. We tread through this space, moving consciously and thus developing a nuanced sense of space. Even in chaos, we can find our place and our stillness.

Specifically, this offer consists of:

° Building
creative movement sequences ° Muscle exercises for holistic strengthening
° Reflex games
° Developing
360° body awareness ° Improving reactivity

Sing our song!

This offer is aimed at all classes from C1 to C4 and is based on the musical material on applaus.lu. “Sing our Song!” consists of two different interventions: a workshop and a recording. Together with Applaus, each class chooses a song from applaus.lu and learns it individually. The Applaus team then comes to the class with a music workshop centred on the chosen song. After the class has had further time to work on their performance, the team returns a second time with the necessary technical equipment to record it. Depending on the song, this can be limited to singing or can also include, for example, playing an instrument or body percussion.
